If you are looking for a fresh genetic pool, King Bear offers an exciting blend of fresh genetics from Peruvian imports. His sire, Camilio (SEE PHOTO ON THE RIGHT), is the son of Don Julio Barreda’s Standing Bear. Camilio was the top fawn pick of imported accoyo herdsires. Don Julio Barreda’s Peruvian ranch is the home of Accoyos, carefully selected over ½ century of breeding for conformation, fiber fineness, density and uniformity. Camilio is legendary for consistently producing champions and is one of the premier herdsires in North America.

King Bear is also the son of 5 Peruvian Tambobamba 8548. The 5th import from Peru was highly selective. Tambo’s micron count at import was 17.6 and at 6 years of age it was still an incredible 21.4 microns.

Domasco means “apricot” in Andean Spanish, and Domasco is a lovely replica of his apricot colored father, Ramon. Domasco’s outstanding coverage, upright conformation, and crimpy, bundling fleece reflect his rare Timoteo line.

Domasco Bear’s grandsire, Timoteo founded an impressive lineage which was tragically cut short.  Don Julio Barreda, found of the Peruvian Accoyo herd, recently stated that Timoteo was one of the top 3 most influential males to leave his accoyo ranch. Dom’s father, DPF Ramon, is carrying on the Timoteo line in excellent style as his wins championships and produces many champion crias.  He tends to pass on his elite fleece to his crias including Domasco Bear.
